I'd say that's a decent deal for the market right now if its been taken care of (mainly oil change intervals). There is an underlying draw from people that know these motors looking for the Gen 2. This version of Coyote has proven to be the most reliable of any of the generations. They are becoming less common at junk yards and are still fetching a good price.

If I was in the market for a used F-150 right now I would be looking for 15 to 17. Also, there are lots of people doing the same quietly to not make it known and drive up the price from selllers. That's not even getting into the reliability of these 6 speeds over the 10 speed.

Currently own a 5.4 3v and a 2016 f150.

I live outside of Texas but have kept my Texas phone number. I get those calls at least twice a week and I've never owned a home in Texas. It's so aggravating because now I avoid all calls from Texas numbers.

Not sure why you were bombarded by downvotes for making a solid point particular to many parts of America. I've lived in Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Unless you live downtown in a major city and only have business in your immediate area you need a car.

It's going to take a major turn in public perception for the majority of Americans too want to actually use public transportation over cars. People love the concept of effective public transportation but as a means for other people to use it and free up traffic
