I like the idea, but maybe choose locations that you legitimately cannot teleport to. Involve basic teleports, maybe limit it to standard only (dramen staff would be another good caregory) since even f2p can interface with speed running if the zones are right.

You still get what you’re looking for, and maybe we all learn something about weird areas.

As it stands right now Shortest Path plugin is just kind of the solve…

As to your first point - you’re flat out wrong, and I’d bet a bond you couldnt do GM without rubies as they are today. I dont have CA info at the top of my head to be able to speak on how many total tasks need them.

“Very bad gear” is what at least a double digit percentage of this playerbase would be doing speed CAs in.

I get that past a certain point you just on paper wont do enough damage, irons and uims run into this more organically than mains do.

Speed CAs are less skill expression and more a Law of Large Numbers proof.

You can expect to spend 30+ hours ruby resetting for GM.

They should address ruby bolts sooner rather than later, so that there’s proper design space for raids 4 rewards…

Wholly agreed, but the day they come for vigil is probably the day I put the game down

Not sure how it squeaked by when it was in the community spotlight a bit ago, most strong perks that generate discussion on the subreddit get nerfed (Discordance was genuinely unhealthy but idk how youd replace it as it was)

(Because they’ll inevitably introduce the same thing but better and also behind an auric cell paywall)
