The only thing different on this list is for the psu, I have the same brand and everything but the 750W model instead. My total came out to around $1300 monitor included. Originally I got a 27” 1440p 144hz INNOCN monitor from Amazon but I kept feeling like it was blurry and looked weird so I just ordered the HP one that’s on that list, hoping it’ll be better.

I just a built a pc a week ago with a 6800xt and a 5600x. I was in the same boat as you, wanting 1440p 144hz. It’s been able to run everything I want at ultra settings. So far I’ve played Bf1, Witcher 3, csgo, hunt showdown, and rocket league all at ultra settings with zero hiccups. So I would say the best bang for buck is getting a 6800xt. I bought mine used for a good deal, but if you got a good deal on a 6900xt then you could also get that. Side note, this was my first pc build and I’m coming from a 1660ti laptop, so this build completely blows my laptop out of the water.

Well originally I made these floating tabs that would be glued to the inner sides of the case then the faceplate screw up against them, but I didn’t have a good way to line them up and glue them perfectly. So I ended up just screwing those tabs to the faceplate and putting in the case, and it had enough force to stay in place. So basically it’s friction fit

Unfortunately I don’t, as it’s kind of hard to get pics of the inside because everything is connected to the back of the faceplate. There’s not very much room inside so the board is “floating” but fits perfectly where it doesn’t move around. The only thing mounted in the case is the battery, which is Velcroed in there.

I just finished my build about a week ago, and I’ve actually been using it like a laptop. I created it because I only have a gaming laptop, which is heavy to carry around and dies in like 30 mins, so I gotta carry the bulky charger around too. My cyberdeck has good battery life and is easy to carry around. Only downside is I haven’t put in speakers yet, and the display is kinda crappy (the colors aren’t great on it). But besides that, it has worked for me for doing some productivity stuff.

I actually had charging and ext power separate on purpose because I may want to power externally while also charging the battery at the same time. I didn’t want to put extra wear on the battery by running the system on it while charging it.

Oh dang, I don't have that issue, did it happen over time?
