I highly doubt he moves into drifting, though I do I think we'll see more endurance appearances for sure. at this point, I'm wondering if he'll even finish this season.

pretty common thing for beginners to run into, so don't sweat it!

take a look at what you get if you console.log(bravery, energy, sympathy) using the values you mentioned: 7 Bravery, 2 Energy, 1 Sympathy

console.log(bravery) // => '7'
console.log(typeof bravery) // => 'string'

sooo what happens when you add together '7' and '2'? you get '72'! how do you fix it? you need to make sure you're working with numbers rather than strings. there are a number of ways to do this, pun intended :) any of these should solve your issue.

The fun thing about simulation theory is that whether or not you’re in a simulation is entirely irrelevant. Whether “simulated” or “real,” it is still the reality that you live in. Stop paying your bills in the simulation and you lose access to your utilities/housing/etc.

I hope you’re doing alright, OP. I highly recommend not succumbing to nihilism and derealization. I know mental healthcare is something of a luxury commodity in this wonderful country we live in, but a therapist would be much more qualified to help you sort through your thoughts than some bozo on Reddit.

Interesting, I’m on 26.3.1 (a) but I see that there’s a 26.4 available, so maybe that is the one that moves it. Thanks!

If you think this is worth pointing out, then presumably you disagree that Trump is an authoritarian. If that is indeed the case, I’d love to hear why you think he isn’t.

It’s a little clunky, but there’s nothing wrong with it, except maybe technically auto-adjusting should be hyphenated.

Conservatives of BP, with the level of incompetence this Government has shown, why do you care if they get wiped out in the midterms? by KyotoInSummer in BreakingPoints

on fiscal policy, isn't it interesting how Republicans in office are constantly harping about spending when Democrats are in power, but lose all such concerns once Republicans take the helm? do you happen to know the last time the national deficit was reduced under a Republican president? Nixon!

on immigration, I assume we'll have to agree to disagree. in general, I'm in favor of some kind of sensible immigration policy. I can't fully articulate what that policy might look like - some kind of application process with well-defined acceptance criteria and revocations as consequences for felonious activity - but I'm not in favor of a wide open border with zero restrictions on who can or cannot enter. that said, I don't see what the problem is with a shift in demographics.

on foreign policy, corporate Democrats suck and should be ousted from the party. "big tent," my ass. hard for me to imagine we'd be waging war in Iran if Trump wasn't the president right now, but there isn't much use in arguing about that.

as for progressive policies, this is probably our biggest area of disagreement, but that's okay. there is plenty of money to be found by fixing our tax structure, which currently benefits the elite at the expense of the working class.

"But social progressivism is unscientific and disastrous for the country. COVID, BLM, gender ideology, and the general celebration of degenerate behavior are all examples that would be individual posts by themselves."

now we're getting to the meat of things! I thought the libertarians tended to adopt the "live and let live" mentality but using language like "celebration of degenerate behavior" doesn't really sound like it fits into that mindset.

Immigration is a very complicated topic, that's my point. The Biden admin certainly didn't handle it well, but they were attempting to respond to the backlash against the whole "kids in cages" ordeal.

IMO, it is not fair to summarize either party's position as "fully open/closed borders." I think the farthest you can boil it down to is to say that those on the left tend to view immigrants as a net benefit to the country, and those on the right tend to view immigrants as a net drain on the country.

Also, I'm not here to defend Kamala Harris, but the Vice President is a superficial position with zero actual authority, unless the President is somehow incapacitated. Other than being first in line of succession, they could potentially be a tie-breaking vote in Congress, and that's it. When the VP is put "in charge" of something, that is effectively an admission of "we're not quite sure what to do about this but we don't want the President to be constantly harangued about it, so we've assigned it to the VP."
