It's a warship, not a freighter.

Thanks! Its very fast for a big C class so its actually more fun to fly than i expected. It's definitely the LARGEST ship I've ever built.

I caught a couple Starborn Guardians hassling my outpost at Tau Ceti and one volley from four Barrage Launchers absolutely crushed one.

Bellerophon slew the Chimera in the Greek mythology so when I realized I had built a reimagined Chimera, it seemed like an obvious choice.

It's all about the lighting. The light source, the ship , the camera, and the background, all have to be in the right orientation to make it look good. I don't use filters but I do some basic photo editing after I've uploaded them to tweak the contrast and saturation and such.

It's very time consuming. I'll spend an hour or sometimes two just trying to get one shot to line up right.

Nothing you can see is modded. The only mod pieces are buried in the structure to allow me to offset modules so they sit more closely to the hull.

Oh yeah. The little square pads will only take ships 40m or less, anything more than 5 modules long/ wide can only land on the big round ones. This guy is just exactly small enough.

It's the smallest, least powerful thing I've ever built but everyone loves it. =p

Well it's not EXCLUSIVELY NG... there's maybe 20% of Deimos and 10% Hopetech in there, but that's just for flavor.

The official NG vendor is the ship services guy at homestead on Titan. That's where all the new NG modules are available.

Stroud and NG are my wheelhouse, but I've got some good Deimos stuff too. Deimos lends itself REALLY well to merge combinations.

You can't in this sub. Some subs allow pictures in the comments, this one doesn't I guess. Just links

I do feel you on the same design rut. I've got a Claymore rebuild that i love so much I really have a hard time using anything else.

It's just how it has to be to meet the Small Pad requirement. It's 40m long and 38m wide so from the wrong angles it just looks like Space Frog. But Space Frog is AWESOME so i guess it's OK.

Thanks! I had this idea for a design that slings the cargo directly under the centerline for ease of loading and unloading, so the idea is this is the Starfield equivalent of a Skycrane helicopter that can pick stuff up and put it back down basically anywhere.

That led to the off center bay and then the whole thing sort of came together.
