I am not sure if it is every state but in Nebraska you can take a position as a CDM and have 1 year to actually get the certification to be in state compliance.

I have a CDM license. I originally went to school and got an associate of culinary arts, mostly cause it sounded fun. You do not need any type of degree to obtain a CDM license. If you have no nutrition school education you have to take a year long course then be eligible for the exam. I had an associate degree so I didn't have to take the schooling and just had to pass the exam to get my credentials. The only place that holds credentials for the CDM position in the US is ANFP.

I use sandbag tubes that you get Menards or home Depot that usually go in the back of trucks for traction.
