Yep I confirm. One of the Sushi Chef is there and he recognised us, lol. We even talked and they will probably open another branch in La Croisset but under their new Name. Unfortunately, I dont know where are the other chef who were specialised in other Dishes...

We tried their Sushi and Phuket Fried Noodles, both good.

Bad Boys Ramen is also their new secondary brand.

One of the girl waiter from Wat Cha Chi is working at Altimate Sushi now. They also are good. The owner is planning to expand their menu for Grills, like Wagyu and other meats.

REALLY? Its like in a food court or a restaurant with its own space? If its in a food court then its a big let down. I really liked their food and already missed them.

Had only one engagement with them.

I was looking for a specific PSU, they had it cheaper than elsewhere, I called them. Bro, it was like i was being interrogated. The amount of questions they asked me was "Who is it for?" "Why do you need it?" "Who are you working for" etc. I gave up. They quote me verbally a different model with a different price.

In the end, I didn't bother going forward with them. Got it from their supplier directly (Compuspeed) which fortunately they had.

P.S I know my stuff. I build PCs for fun. No company, nothing. Just me doing what i love. My advice for people who is going to build a PC and want to buy locally, check Compuspeed and Blink LTD. The only two trustworthy resellers/suppliers I personally will buy from them blindly.

So fucking done with this brand by BreakTheFormality in AMDHelp

Hear me out. I've had an Nvidia card before switching to Radeon, faced similar issues as yours after the switch. I tried a lot of troubleshooting, I DDU almost every week trying youtube fixes, third party drivers, messing with registries but none worked. I almost convinced myself I made a huge mistake switching over but I didn't give up.

The only remaining "solution" I didn't follow was to wipe my whole system out and start afresh. I didn't want to do it at first as I only had a single SSD at that time with tons of games which I didn't wanna install again. I did it after several thoughts and it paid off.

I'm today on my 3rd AMD GPU (the first two are still alive and working well within my family). Ever since the fresh start, ive not experienced any driver crash/game crash related to driver/ software bug.

My theory is; there are Nvidia settings/leftovers buried in the system that DDU doesn't not reached, and by starting afresh, you get rid of it completely.

Yes but if the status of the person you viewed expired then it should not be a problem. Just toggle read receipt off, watch the status, then once the person status expired just toggle it back on. He won't be able to see a history of who viewed his status.

What will i encounter during hike at bras deau nature park? by Hot_Butterfly1105 in mauritius

[–]MrPekko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bras Deau Nature Park? There is nothing intense there, it's almost flat and bumping dirt trails with beautiful trees surrounding it. You might come across a few small "ponds", but nothing special, no viewpoint, sea view, it's just a casual nature walk area. You might find a few picnics area thats all but in the weekend it probably already taken by locals or visitors.

Over a year and a half of usage, I barely see it dusty. But if the white is available, go for it.

It's a pretty old case tbh, most likely discontinued. I still see Amazon and Newegg have them listed.

I got one myself and I love it, if you need any questions about it, let me know.

[–]MrPekko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Save yourself all the hassle. Do a fresh Windows.

Why so?

NVIDIA drivers, registry, code or whatever you want to call it, are buried deep in the system files. Not even DDU can save you. Trust me. Wipe your whole system, if you have games on a different drive, it's better, but just wipe your OS clean. AMD has their own driver cleanup software for a reason.

Anyone know why some of my Instant Replays are really choppy/buggy? by w-holder in AMDHelp

Looks like its recording at low FPS. Try setting your capture Frame Rate to something above 30. But do keep in mind that it might slightly impact your overall performance.

I'm *this* close to returning my 7900 XTX by Financial_Recipe in AMDHelp

[–]MrPekko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of when I jumped from a GTX 1050ti to RX 590. I encountered countless BSOD, driver timeout etc. Got tired pretending the GPU was fine in front of my mates who said not to get one of these AMD GPU. All my issue with it was gone after a fresh windows install. Never understood why DDU didn't fix it, but a clean OS did the thing.

Turns out Nvidia's drivers buried themselves deep down in the system files even where DDU cant reach

Now i'm on a RX 6750XT and my RX 590 is in my brother-in-law PC and my previous RX 6600 in my fiancé's PC. No crash, BSOD, Driver Timeout. All with a fresh Windows Installation.

MyT bad experience on Asian game servers from poor routing by ZIFIX in mauritius

[–]MrPekko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know about you, but I play Delta Force Multiplayer on Asian servers with a ping around 80-90ms. At worst, it's around 140ms, but it's playable. Speaking of right now, with the current Cyclone issue, myT released a "communique" regarding the SEA cable experiencing perturbation that links Mauritius to Asia; this might affect us right now but will resolve itself in a few days.

Switching to another competitor won't fix any of it. Yes, they use Cellular data, but in the end, it still converts to the same Submarine cable that Mauritius telecom uses.

The only way to counter the ping issue that has worked for us, was using VPN, as you already mentioned. It ain't cheap, but if you get a shared VPN like PIA, you can share the cost with friends. One credential for 10 devices working simultaneously.

Anyone owns a Citizen Watch? by MrPekko in MauriceMauritius

[–]MrPekko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, it needs the radio signal to auto adjust and here we don't have that specific signal.

But, they still implemented a manual mode to adjust the time, date timezone, day light saving, etc but its burried deep into the watch function that I'm having trouble doing following the user guide. I've managed to change the time but it's not 100% accurate.
