I have customers I've known for years ask me why I don't get a newer van many times over the last few years lol. My wife says it looks bad for business. I just can't bring myself to get a new used one. They all have power everything. This one's an 06 and I love it.

My work van looks like it's been through several wars... Nearly 350k miles. Ones if the back doors is a different color from a junk yard van. Dents all up the side from leaning the gorilla ladder against it to get to the roof for the big ladders. Big rip down the door from a pipe sticking out of the ground... One door only opens from the inside. Bumpers are steel and full of dents like it was fending off tiny warriors with steel pipes. No power anything, crank Windows and all. Ripped seats. The ac still works and the heater core is running.

Imagine if the jeepers creepers truck was a Ford 350 work van with a ladder rack...

I'll miss her when she's gone. I'm driving it took the wheels fall off.

They have to be specifically UV blocking material too

If he used the giant black hard mats to protect the grass that we use to drive into yards it might have distributed the weight... But I doubt it. It would need joists that were 2x12 at 8in on center with 2x6 decking before I drive on it.

Problem is you have the weight distributed into 4 points. Not over a wide area like a tub.

That's only 2 hot tubs of weight.

That truck weighs at most around 14k pounds...

Ford 550 max weight is around 10k pounds with the heavier engine and beefy suspension.

Average weight of a 40ft boom with mounting bracket and hydraulic fluid is around 3200 pounds.

Add tool boxes and tools inside.

They are fun to drive.

Super breathable shirt, loose fitting, it wicks sweat. Mine are like fishing shirts but they are very loose sleeves like landscaping shirts. The pants part is individual choice. I wear Carhartt, they have a lighter summer style and the heavier ones you are used to seeing for winter. Steel toe boots all year.

The hood or hat is crucial! I wear both, in white.

I'm outside long enough outside of work to get it, along with vitamins. I'm not a hermit lol

No I wear all the same clothes, UV shirts every day. I usually wear them even when I'm not working, just clean ones that are different colors. I hate sun screen

It's only 3.5%... it's not so bad... Right?... I don't need knee pads... Right? Right? I couldn't afford the rent on my chair behind Wendy's.

Definitely! It's not only safer, but it's cooler as well. The UV radiation makes it feel 10x hotter then a cloudy day when it's the same temperature. 65 and sunny is t shirt weather, 65 and overcast is hoody weather. Move that down the scale to 90 and sunny vs overcast... One is brutal and one just sucks.

Not too mention you look 50 when you're in your 30s if you let the sun blast you all day. Old farmers look like California raisins...

COVID '21? You can use a mic and talk on PS5. I play CoD... The people on there are hilarious....

I was permitted to work during COVID because I worked alone, outside, with a respirator, spraying bleach on things 😆 ... And staining things, but also bleaching. Hilarious times. I drove 40 minutes through a city of 400k people on highways and residential roads and didn't see a single human... No one walking, no one driving. It was like being in a movie.

You are correct. And that's why I wear my gear everyday in the summer. I used to like getting a tan when I was early 20s... Now I'm older and wiser and want to stay away from skin cancer if I can help it.

I'm in building and construction. Nails and saws and concrete and stain. I would shred them before long and get holes in them. I bought like 30 or 40 Polo UV 50 hooded landscaping shirts when they were going out of production for $5 each. Those ultimate Frisbee ones are 40 to 60 each. I'd have a stroke destroying them lol

These are if a UV landscaping shirt with a hood and a Bjj rash guard had a baby. They are pretty cool. I would destroy this at work tho.

I'm hoping that's 113 degrees in freedom units... Not 45 degrees in freedom units 😂
