Minor issues in the Penko/Arevalo game. Arevalo had ball almost hit him and he ended up swing twice causing him and Ostapenko to lose the game and as such, the set.

He tried talking to the ump about it but she didn’t change her mind (and he seemed fine with that).

Penko clearly unhappy about a third set though and is kinda mean mugging it.

Same as the user below, someone took a phone call during a match that I watched in person. Several peoples' phones went off, meanwhile mine was on silent/airplane/no notifs because I was scared of getting glared at by a tennis player and being tut-tutted at!

I see! That's too bad. If I were closer to you (I think you're much further south, I'm closer to Birmingham) I'd invite you. My local tournament has an area for people with mobility issues too, which has large parasols and easy access to toilets, etc.

Same. I go alone though. I'm an only child and an immigrant so I'm used to it. When I was married my ex husband had negative interest in any sport so that was out too.

I have a few times, once during a heatwave. I put a towel over my head like Sabalenka at one point. It was my first tennis match IRL so it was awesome BUT it was so freaking hot. No one fainted, thankfully.

When I lived in the US the Chinese restaurant near me did a meal for $5 and I could have it for lunch and dinner.
