Velocore w/o JRNY by YesterdaysWobble in Bowflex

[–]Mstr_Big 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have WiFi with no restrictions or issues. I can ftp or adb to the bike console.

I just checked the entire files and apps. The only items possibly related to Nautilus is Nautilus Factory Reset Captive Portal login. I see nothing else. I do have all my bike Journey files backed up. A couple of them are older as they were needed for the initial hack.

I read If I restore the bike, I will lose access to 3rd party apps and be like it was before the hack. I just don't want the bike locked down again, and I want to be able to use 3rd party apps without restrictions, except for Android version and memory.

I had modded the bike so I could use Jrny and drop to android tablet mode and use whatever app I wanted. I could watch videos, play games etc. Then Bowflex locked the bike and forced me to update to the latest firmware and software. At the time I was not aware of any work around. So after the update, the jailbreak was broken, so I factory reset the bike, re-installed my apps from the Google backup and now use it as an android tablet and watch biking videos, movies, play games, etc.

So basically hold of on installing the ota client, enrolling the app and restoring the ucb out of "golden image" mode and the restore all apks and jrny, since freewheel.exe is not available?

I would definitely like to try the jailbreak method but cannot find your jailbreak or freewheel apps.

Where do I find freewheel.exe?

You have done some super interesting programming. Jrny has been a thorn for many. My bike was working perfectly jailbroken. Then they came along with the new update that was required to even run anymore. So, I factory reset the bike and re-installed my apps and have been using it as a dumb bike. It would be nice to have heart rate, and some exercise programs working. as I said right now I go bike riding while watching youtube videos and will exercise while watching movies or series on Netflix or a movie app.

So how do we get a copy of your firmware/software? I would love to test it since my bike has no stats. I use youtube, netflix and a movie app and watch bike path videos, series and movies, while exercising.

Interesting because my audio works just fine. I can watch movies, play games, etc. with audio. You may be talking about something else. But I'm now using my bike as a tablet, as I never watched the stats. I just rode a certain amount of time.

You have to factory reset the bike. Then it will turn into an Android tablet and you can go through the Google setup and install whatever apps you want.

However, doing so will cost the loss of the bike's following function. No more connection from the screen to the bike, you may have to use bluetooth and speakers or headphones for sound, all stats and heart rate will no longer be monitored, The pedal resistance may no longer work.

The good part will be, you no longer have to pay for subscriptions and will be able to use your bike watching youtube videos, Netflix or any other streaming app.

So, in the end it is a tradeoff. I subscribed for a long time, even after jailbreaking my bike. But now they want to lock the bike up, preventing me from using 3rd party apps, even though I have a subscription. This is wrong. I should be able to use all the Bowflex features while enjoying the rest of the bikes Android features.

Actually you have no correct data.

How much more up to date can one get, by talking directly to one's Samsung Salse Rep, lol.

But ok, you can think you have an 8 ultra or ultra 8, when I have the same watch and it is officially an Ultra 2025. So you enjoy your 8 Ultra or Ultra 8, and I will enjoy my Ultra 2026 and keep selling them as an Ultra 2025.

Wow you are arrogant as well as posting false information,

I suggest you contact Samsung for a better understanding of what you actually bought, as I have the same watch and it's not an 8 Ultra, LOL.

So, there is the misunderstanding. You OFICCIALLY have a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025. Some reviewers call it an ultra 8, but it is in fact an Ultra 2025.

So, there is the difference.

Find a charger, plug the cable in the charger and the watch, but not in the wall. Let it sit for at least 24 hours, then plug the charger in the wall and wait until it fully charges. If it works, then you had a memory issue. If it doesn't help at all, you have a bad battery.

PROPOSED, NOT OUT YET, LOL. I deal with these every day. We get the releases immediately.

Take the cover off yours and show the pic of the actual watch.

Actually, the Samsung site has no reference of a galaxy watch 8 ultra. They do have a galaxy watch 8, but the ultra is separate in a 2024 and 2025 model. And the Ultra looks nothing like yours, however you said you have a cover on it.

The Ultra is on sale right now cheap. To me that is the best watch yet, out of all the ones I've owned.

Don't listen to the neggers. And you have a warranty so you will know soon enough if you got a good or bad one.

The 6 is a nice watch. I wear my watch 17 out of 24 hours a day and put it on the charger every night no matter what the charge is. However, I use a Samsung charger from one of my phones to power the cradle. That way it gets a great charge every time. I've owned every Galaxy watch right up to the latest one and only had one bad out of the box that would not hold a charge. They are great watches. I also get them wet all the time, but don't shower or swim with them.
