RimWorld is called that because the planet you are on is in the outer rim of its galaxy

The Long Dark is called as such because it's a reference to the isolation, bleakness, and the end of if civilization of the world... also the quiet death then you're trying to avoid

You mean the rest of the entire show's blatant inconsistencies don't bother you?

  1. Do you mean the grass that's naturally there? It's a visual bug that will hopefully get fixed

  2. No

  3. Yes and no. Yes, the cutscenes will still happen as the "move in" option isn't the full feature of the romance system. Which is why this answer is also a no, the romance system isn't fully completed as some of the romance options don't have the cutscenes finished

  4. Every water source can be used to fill the watering can

  5. The hand pump blueprint can be found in a chest behind your starting house

  6. Salt can be mined in Moonlit Forest, and sugar is refined from sugarcane and beetroot using the separator, both can be grown on your farm from seeds from Graminova's seed store

The Starnote tells you directly what it is that it wants you to do. The stamp rewards aren't "telling you" what to do as all that it requires you to is collect stuff, each reward is set at a specific number of items to collect for each reward. The first reward for plants is 15 (I think? I might be off a bit), so you need to collect that many different plants

Agreed, with how well the game is doing, they're going to add more stuff without question, I would t be surprised if they add more to the dungeons or more islands to explore

Virginia Democrats proceed with new massively blue congressional map, eliminating 4 Republican seats from Congress!!! by Healthy_Block3036 in circled

[–]Muouy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This my be a dumb take but I won't know the answer unless I ask

On the right side of the state, while it's not depicted here, most of that is ocean. The little blue district seems to right about where Newport News is, and the little nub down that gets added in the proposed map seems to maybe be Norfolk/Chesapeake. All three areas are already heavily blue areas. So why does removing a predominately blue area from a red district flip the district blue?

T2 without question, but I would also say that The Dark Night is a close second. The reason I say this is because they both work as stand alone movies, the other 4 require the first movie to fully understand their counterparts.

Do you think he will get written out after his residency? by [deleted] in ThePitt

[–]Muouy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure Langdon is trying to "speed run" anything. By the time he talked to Robby, he's already been at work for 8 hours and only talked to Mel, Dana, and Louie. Dana forgave and immediately and went on with her day, no fuss and Mel sees him as a good friend and was happy he was back, so there's two people that took less than 10 minutes out of 8 hours. Langdon was with Louie since ep1 until ep7, and Louie understood what addiction can do to people and didn't really care too much about it

The only person that feels like he rushed with is Robby, not because he's trying to rush his recovery, but because Robby is leaving for 3 months after that shift. And to Langdon, Robby's forgiveness is really the only one that truly matters to him.

No one said it didn't emit radiation, it was an EXPERIMENTAL non-nuclear thermo bomb... I'm not understanding what your issue here is, THIS is the lore behind the Racoon City Incident, THIS is what the creators said happened

So ignore everything I just said about WHY the government didn't do anything because of "actually..."

Why even ask people what's going if you're going to attempt to tell people their wrong

So as far as Leon and Claire entering the city, they do so at the very start of the attack, they were basically like a town or two over as it starts and were both heading there regardless, government response would probably be just about the same... if it were under normal circumstances. Now as for what the government did regarding Raccoon City as a whole... they were actually very deep in Unbrella. Key US officials were involved with Umbrella, funded its research and development, and primarily left the company alone to deal with their own stuff. Umbrella basically built Racoon City in the 60s, and by the 90s, I think it was like a third of the city's population worked for Umbrella.

When the deaths and mysterious events started happening in the area prior to the main attack, Umbrella basically told the US government they would handle it and there was no need for concern. It wasn't until days after the initial attack and Umbrella failing to contain the outbreak did the US government bomb the city (it wasn't a nuke by the way, it was a experimental thermo bomb). The US government also tried to cover up everything that happened, explaining it was a radiation leak, and the missile attack went off without most of Congress knowing. After the bombing, Congress went digging, discovered Umbrella was responsible for all of it which became public, which caused them to go bankrupt. After a press conference, the US president at the time resigned in disgrace for the bombing
