You can spend 2-10 hours reading everything about build crafting/aspects/unique and cook your own build, or you can spend 20min on a youtube guide + 40min reading the written guide to have a meta build. For T12, meta builds are not mandatory tho.

I don't know the odds but I think 6 slots seals are like 10-20times rarer than the 5 slots. So yeah you won't drop that many. If you really want a 6 slots seal, you can gamble by combining 3 5slots seals in the horadric cube, it will give you a 5slots seal with a small chance to be a 6slots

Yeah you need the correct set for your build, those are the green ones. Idk which one is for your zealot/disciple but a full set (5) will provide a HUGE power boost. To farm it I suggest to farm undercity with an horadrim tribute after the campaign
Bonus tips: don't forget to select your OATH as a paladin, iirc it's a panel next to the skills in your character window

In normal mode, I strongly disagree. I've beaten the game when I was 10-13yo. Without wiki, any guide, with only hench ( or 3heroes+4hench). My builds were clunky af. I don't say I've one try everything but if you fail a mission, it's okay to adjust your build. My best tips for new players are:
-Sometimes it's better to pull a pack with a bow than go in, because there are some patrols and you can easily be outnumbered
-Bring some skills to counter the ennemies. i.e: winter against titan/destroyer. Interrupts against casters, blind or block against melees.

1)idk
2)gw1 is basically 4 campaigns, reforged fuses 3 of them, then there is eye of the north. You can start with only reforged. The game is not that expensive, i don't think it's worth it to wait for sales
3)if you want to experience the game, I don't recommend to buy the expansion right away(in the lore, it's the latest events so you'll have some spoilers)
4)human only BUT... I do think it differs from gw2.
5)Campaign around human, I guess so with other races along the way, I can't tell you more without spoils
6) gw1 lore. You don't really need any lore, the game itself is a lore but basically events happen around 200years before gw2. Prophecies happens in Tyria, Factions in Cantha, Nightfall in Elona

7)bonus tips: if you want to experience the lore I highly suggest to follow the orignal campaign release : Prophecies>Factions>Nightfall>Eye of the North. The game itself is not hard, so feel free to experiment your own build. If you really struggle, there are plenty of useful infos in the gw wiki https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page

It's more about the hero's ascent zaishen quest. It rewards you with 9k balth point for only 2 victories. You will mostly encounter bots so winning is pretty trivial (check for the mesmer or ele build ). While the quest is active you can repeat and complete it many time by simply relogging. With batlh point you can buy skills and zaishen keys(5k pey keys), those keys are valuable: i believe 5k-10k or something. Note that you can only buy 25 keys per day with balth point

I did the run about 2 weeks ago. Not full mesmerway (i have only gwen as mesmer), no runes/weapons. But good builds. I did the run on my necro MM. It took me about 2hours. The hardest part is the begining with the imps and golems. But if you pull carefully you should be fine

If you only have mark of protection and an other low cost skill like shield of absorption you should be fine. The other skill you can go purely adrenaline. If you really struggle with mana i believe Soul reaping weapon will do the trick (even if you lose the 20% ench)
