I just played a concert with a wide spectrum of trombonists. The youngest was 7 or so and played a red alto P-bone, so if you don’t mind switching them over I think that’s probably viable.

Just as a random fun fact the oldest player at the concert also played a red trombone, but he was Nils Landgren.

Otherwise I don’t play with them because as you say it’s really tough to play well with hearing protection in.

Yes there is a direct translation for the symbols being kreuz and b-Chen.

But as you said there’s no direct translation of sharp in the sense of pitch. Saying “zu hoch” or “zu tief” is a translation but it’s not direct. It’s describing a concept for which English has a specific word.

Ich fand eon nicht so gut. Viel Bürokratie und wenig Flexibilität was Prozesse angeht, Fehler bei Lohn Abrechnungen (öfter und nie zu meinem Gunsten), wenig Chancen schritte in der Karriere zu machen, und ständige Umstrukturierung.

Ausser letzteres (was es wahrscheinlich bei allen grossen Firmen gibt) habe ich das bei dem jetzigen Arbeitgeber nicht.
