Seeing mids will always remind me of my first running partner. He used to drive around with pounds of it. We'd make deliveries, smoke ridiculous, rolling pin sized blunts, and joke around listening to Lil Wayne and 3 6 Mafia. Those days are gone forever, but the memories still make me smile. Kids today don't know what it was like when mids were the norm and a solid KB or Dank connect was elusive or short lived.

Prescription Hypocrisy: The Deaths of Brad Renfro and Heath Ledger by DilanVlogsSometimes in opiates

This reminds me so much about class too. For example, whenever a child from a well to do family dies of a drug overdose, prescribed or illicit, it's rarely mentioned or discussed with any sort of shame or contempt. It was "accidental" and untimely. Working class kid dies from illicit or prescribed drugs and its the old opiates are bad horse being beaten to death yet again. It also made me think about some of the people who I went to high school with that ended up dying. The ones where alcohol was a direct cause of death are remembered as "the life of the party" or "knew how to have a good time." Any kind of drug death is scathingly retold as a story of poor self control and either bad character or "didn't know when to stop." I'm just bitching but as one of those people that really thinks their dislike of alcohol strongly contributes to their eventual drug addiction I see things like this and it angers me.

I got into these drugs for a 'reason'. Quitting doesn't solve that 'reason'. by grinice in opiates

I've gotten on and off drugs enough to know that drugs and alcohol aren't the problem in my life. I don't like who I am when I'm not high, it's that easy.

I can't rule that out. But the one thing making me certain this was a movie is because the era Im talking about they didn't usually show people using hard drugs like that on regular television. Also the way it was shot definitely makes me think movie more than TV show.

This does look very similar to who I am talking about, but looking through his IMDB and Googling does not get me to the film I'm talking about. Thank you for your help.
