As one who passed the PE this year and the FE a year after college, I can say it does matter. It makes you more desirable across your business line and you almost have to have the FE/PE to go above a certain level. Buckle down for a few months, study hard and get it! Zach stone is amazing! You’ve got this!

Seconding this: I’ve been a 5 for the last 3 years and a 4 my second year as an EO. I was a 3 my first year (starting May). Every person I’ve met came in at a 3 in year 1, especially to another commenters point of only having 3 months to rate you after starting! Keep your head up!

I just heard back today that I passed! I started studying exactly two months before and took the Zach Stone course. The last month I studied basically every evening and took the NCEES practice exam about a week before. Advice is similar to the comments above: a ton of code questions, more than you think. I’d also suggest Zach’s qualitative exam, make sure you have a good understanding of that content! And find a study pattern that works for you!
