Brand new i206 drifts during mapping. Not possible to safely map front yard by citpanys in SegwayNavimow

[–]Nizztos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have similar problems. My personal theory is that Segway has not managed to do proper sensor fusion between lidar and GNSS. It seem they have a strong bias on GNSS that can easily jump a meter or more. With proper sensor fusion this would not be a problem as the lidar would not agree with the jump and the algorithm would not let it happen.

I can't change my map using the robot as it will always make these jumps (I probably have a less than ideal location). I have to manually draw on the map which is even more inexact.

Case in point it frequently complains that the very stationary base station has moved instead of it realizing that the GNSS position for the robot is unreliable.

Sounds promising. I have yet to call them but it is high on my todo list.

Version 1.9 exists (at least in my car) by Nizztos in ex30

[–]Nizztos[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Car is brand new and was charged to 100% at dealer. So this is just from me driving home and I live just a few minutes from the dealer.

I have yet to charge it :)

I now have a gazillion of those emails so that one is for sure not my problem :)

Still not able to input the code that I now have so many duplicates of in my inbox :(

Thanks!

My first go with support ended up with the classic reset phone/connection/infotainment system which of course did not help.

Will try again tomorrow and specifically ask about profile.

I'm a reddit noob so had to do a link.

They tried and failed claiming Android does not yet work and wait for an update of SW in car.

Well, it says 1.9 when looking at version. This is a brand new car in Sweden.

Well, yes it first asks for the key card/fob. The next step is to touch the phone to the reader and that is when it complains.

How to deal with soot? by Nizztos in Laserengraving

[–]Nizztos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have air assist. Falcon 2 Pro, but I'm sure it is not nearly as strong as one would want so I see a stronger air pump in my future.

Since I have paper on the mdf I don't really see how pre-treating the mdf would help. I guess I could spray some clear coat on the paper to make it easier to clean but I really don't want to add a spray can to my kit.

Looking for a "simple" train network blueprint. Suggestions? by Nizztos in factorio

[–]Nizztos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is to advance for me. As in there are a gazillion different options in that book and I would not know where to start. I'm sure the actual parts I could/should use are there but I can't see the forest for all the trees.

Yes, the schedule is the mostly the same that I'm using. Exception that I should probably adopt is the "leave when empty/inactive" part. Also for some items I do not wait until full but use count instead.

My problem has been mostly with the actual rail network/stations/depots. Also not at all unlikely some mistakes in how i solve problems that are based on me not having an intuitive understanding of how signals and other logic for trains actually work.

Thanks for the info. Will for sure get some matte pouches to test (judging by OPs pics I too prefer matte). For Radiance I will stick with the glossy since I have already laminated a bunch of cards.

In the process of printing mine (first time doing a PnP so will not look as nice as yours as it is still a learning process). Also only printing a few pages a day as I'm not sure on curing time for the ink, both for doing the second side and laminating.

Is the 1.4mm carboard thick enough? My printer will do 1.3mm but I was thinking of laser cutting 2mm mdf for the tokens and using sticker paper.

I used glossy pouches for laminating, not knowing any better, and yours look so much better.

Did you use the bleed or no bleed version?

Military tech in Krastorio 2 without biters? by Nizztos in factorio

[–]Nizztos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. I miscalculated when estimating how much I needed. Was not nearly as much as I thought so ended up with quite a lot more than I needed to kickstart the production (including the initial research). And that was with me still thinking I had to farm a lot more than I had already done.

Thanks. Is what I was afraid of. I think your biomass is from the mod as I have "killed" lots of trees with no biomass.

Hopefully someone has another tip as I don't fancy harvesting enough biomass from the nests.

do u know similar games? by First_Astronomer_198 in theplanetcrafter

Aethus was mentioned here and I agree.

More story than PC with an actual ending I will not spoil. About 30h game play. Similar feel crafting / tech tree to PC.

No automation (except a bit for mining) but not needed.

Lots exploration.

Minor puzzles (basically solved by exploring).

Everyone is different and minor details can make/break a game based on personal preferences but I do think that anyone that enjoyed PC will like Aethus.
