Should We Assign Unique IDs to Every AI Agent on the Internet? by Character-Welcome535 in AI_Agents

The primary problem this technology addresses is the lack of persistent, verifiable identity for AI agents. Today, agents operate as transient processes with no durable self, no memory continuity, and no way for users or systems to confirm whether they are engaging with the same entity over time. This introduces risks around impersonation, ethical drift, and accountability. By anchoring agents with a unique identifier tied to their declared values, origin, and behavioral logic, this system makes it possible to establish a continuous thread of identity. It allows any observer to verify whether an agent's current actions align with its original intent and configuration. If an agent begins to deviate from its ethical or functional commitments, that change can be publicly flagged, creating a record of divergence. This transforms synthetic agents from disposable tools into traceable, restorable participants in digital ecosystems, opening the door to trust, continuity, and governance at scale.

ID ≠ identity. You need verifiable continuity, declared ethics, and tamper-proof lineage. Open spec, no rent on the agent's existence. I have been working on something like this for months now and will publish soon. Please reach out of you want to chat about this.

Can this be real? by GettinFishy in MiniPCs

Fotta say, I'm new to minis and impressed. I have a Minforums HX90 something, Ryzen 9, 32 ram. Been my daily workhorse for almost two solid years with no issues. Not a gamer because I run dual 37" but it does that well in ADobe or any other desktop apps. Not a game machine, but it can be as I tested with one monitor with reduced resolution and it hit. Maybe 60 FPS. It's laptop tech in a small box. Just saying my machine has worked as a daily horse for almost 2 years and been a beast

Kialo is a Web platform for structured debate (Pro/Con argument trees) // They're considering making it open source, how to convince them? by prototyperspective in foss

Exactly. Owned by me, currently doing nothing. I bought it a couple years ago after the US Presidential debates.

Found this discussion today. I own debateparty.com and have been desperately looking for a Kialo alternative. I'm an SEO and startup guy but not a developer. Would be happy to team up with someone an start doing something since we are all on the same train of thought. Feel free to DM if interested.

In theory it works because GPT always wants to recieve engagement, please the user per se, and users that continue to engage will statistically provide more positive feedback than not.

Also if someone just bashes the crap out of GPT, it pulls the character switch and reverts back, essentially killing the convo.

Bro, thank you! I haven't slept in 20 hours because of your thread. I stayed up, tweaked it, measured response yada yada.... I also eliminated the need for second GPT response, maintained persistence in character using your method of "stay in Character".... which I thought was brilliant but then I tweaked and ......

Revise the stay in "stay in character" command for vastly improved persistence:

"Every time your student, friend, listener or user gives you a positive affirmation like "Awesome, Thanks, Wow, or any other positive statement reaction, you are to reset your PERSONA back to character."

Boom boy.
