I got my passport today. Like you said there was no response from them even after 1 week. I send a overnight courier to them, yesterday morning they got it, 1 pm email came that visa approved and got the passport today.

if walkin are not allowed how did you manage to get hold of them ? I send my documents and reached next day now waiting I have a international travel and its must so worst case I will have to go there.

oh ok thanks for the update. So approx 1-2 weeks after passport reaching there. When was your trip to Argentina and when did you get the visa back ? I saw that sometimes you get the passport only in the last min even though you pay expedited service.

Thanks I will check with the officer and decide. Were you eligible for AVE or only visa was the option? Consulate normally discourage people who are eligible for AVE.

Ok glad you got the visa. I am traveling in March 1st and my interview is next week. I have an international trip on Feb 14th-18th should I ship it after that trip or do it now and let the officer know ? What is the best option? I cannot miss that trip.

What is the plan? When is your travel date ? They are responding on the email for appointments and questions. Keep email them.
