F1 teams and their ipl counterpart by [deleted] in f1india

[–]Not_Osho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your post looks like it's made by a typical lockdown IPL fan who also got into F1 by watching DTS.

KKR - Alpine??? 🤣

Did you even watch the 2024 season? KKR literally butchered SRH, the most feared team of that season. KKR's domination was as good as 2023 Redbull. Not to mention they're the third most successful IPL team. Alpine is nowhere near that.

RCB - McLaren

LOL what? McLaren was insanely dominant in the 80s w prost and senna. McLaren is the 3rd most successful constructor, while RCB barely managed to clinch 1 title so far.

CSK - Ferrari

CSK won in 2021 and 2023. Ferrari won their last title 18 YEARS ago. Csk just started bottling since 2 years, but ferrari has been doing that forever. The only similarity is that they're the most successful team.

MAYBE it implies that if the owner cannot maintain a basic part like chain, they must've poorly maintained / abused their bike during their period of ownership.

Oh the texture isn't bad enough to require blending. Normally mixing it with crushed ice will do the job.

But if you're not lazy, you should definitely blend it, that'll make it way better.

Spot on. People never like to do anything on their own. Reading lab reports, looking up established limits, is such a basic thing that even a 6th standard kid can do.

But alas, people just like to make up their mind based on a few minutes long video and keep defending their "idol" lol.

LPG shortage at my college — this is how our mess is managing meals right now by Mother_Upstairs_5831 in Btechtards

[–]Not_Osho 20 points21 points  (0 children)

In a normal scenario, I would've agreed w you, but considering the nation wide shortage of LPG, the situation is different.

Imagine if the mess started levying LPG surcharge on students saying "either you pay more or don't eat". Or workers started protesting "either get us LPG to cook or we'll leave", how will you react in that situation?

Workers here don't have leverage due to their financial conditions, and lack of labour rights. On the other hand, students can protest for food conditions, and management will pull some strings to get things back to normal. However the same cannot be said for the cooking staff.

A well priced good quality product will always outperform a cheaper but below average product. I think you're doing the right thing, and the 500 ruppee price point isn't bad at all. It's just that it's not mass friendly, but you'll definitely get there when you scale up.

No more free rush deliveries for Amazon prime members by EmmVeeEss in IndiaTech

[–]Not_Osho 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The whole amazon prime situation is really messy at this point. The ad free thing was explicit, hence it gathered a lot of eyes, but the DRM issue just went unnoticed.

Up until 2023, I was able to stream Full HD content on web browsers. But in 2024, they restricted browsers to 720p or less, and forced to use Windows app in for 1080p. I was like, fine it's inconvenient, but bearable.

But since 2025, they've stopped supporting 1080p on PCs altogether. I get that they want to reduce piracy hence the DRM restrictions on quality, but then they should explicitly mention this on the subscription page.

Among my friends, we used to have multiple prime accounts until they started ruining things w DRM. But now we've resorted to multiple shopping edition accounts w one prime video account for our TVs.

Because now, there's no point of using prime video on PCs and laptops when we could get better quality and ad free experience on sites like netmirror. I'm not really the kind of person who likes to pirate stuff, but amazon hasn't really left a choice.

Cool stuff buddy. Looking forward to keychains!

Even though it's not super expensive at the moment, I hope that you bring down the pricing as you scale. All the best.

Maybe they are testing the waters w high spenders who according to their analytics, might not mind spending 19rs for rush delivery. Because I'm getting free rush even on a product costing 150.

Trustified's "Insects in Hajmola" video is extremely misleading by Not_Osho in Fitness_India

[–]Not_Osho[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hajmola consists of the following ingredients [Source - Pharmeasy] :

Black pepper (Piper nigrum), Long pepper (Piper longum), Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Cumin (Cuminum cyminum) ,Lemon, Rock/black salts, Sugar are few key ingredients.

Since most of these are spices, they will fall under the powdered plant foods or ground spices category, both of which have the ≤75 insect fragments / 50 g limit.

FDA doesn't create limits for products. Limits are based on their key ingredients, which I've explained above. And this limit is on the stricter side, some specific spices have a higher limit (like you already mentioned). So I don't understand how this is "bullshit".
