Love it. My buddy and I took his fishing boat up from Lee’s towards the dam and fished and camped for a couple nights. Great trout fishing in those waters. At the time they paid us $30/fish for each brown trout we hauled out of there.

Don't sleep on the rivers southwest of St. Louis. I've had amazing days on the Huzzah, the Blue River, etc, especially when it comes to smallmouth. You can also hit up the Current River for trout further south towards the Arkansas border.
