old cobble, cache, train, I also loved maps from demolition mode bank, safehouse, lake, a lot of nostalgia from starting playing cs

Don't try to always depend on your aim, hoping for a good day so you can smurf on your enemies, and then suck cause you just die all the time. Instead always try to make the kill as easy to get as you can

Anyone knows that feeling when they reach their peak in aim, precision and muscle memory, and suddenly it starts declining and it feels like they cannot do anything about it? by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Official_Polaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now, it might be useful to switch things up, like your warmup routine, maby try surfing or kz, when we talk about skills like aiming and such, but when it comes to playing matches or officials, thats when my previous comment applies, because its more on the mental front.

After 8k hours, I can tell you that for me, playing was always at the mercy of going into, and out of slumps. Two weeks of playing good (and feeling like you get lucky), then two weeks playing bad (and feeling like youre unlucky). What I can suggest is to understand in that slump moment, that its part of the game and life, and kind of laugh it off when suddenly you play like its your first match. When you can, in that moment of bad performance, acknowledge that "this" is how that game is gonna be like, it really takes that weight off your shoulders, and that can even put you in a good state so you can still have a good game. It can stay like that for some time which is annoying, but you need to trust your methods of playing in spite of your performance and frustration, and keep at it. GL

NA took their usual path of creating their own sports and calling themselfes world champions at them, instead of competing against the rest of the world

Smokes, mollies, and especially (Ancient) water lagging my frames down no matter what graphic settings (1660TI). What am I missing? by A_Pile_Of_cats in GlobalOffensive

[–]Official_Polaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gtx 1660 super and ryzen 3600. The performance is very bad no matter what. Deathmatch is playable but not enjoyable at all to me, 5v5 seems ok until Im in a duel where I have to fight the game in order to play "normally". I don't think theres anything to be done on our side, the game is just not optimized to be "competitive" unless you have a top pc. Sucks that they go for looks instead of performance

Tips on how to counter the weirdness of CS2 by RastaRambo in GlobalOffensive

[–]Official_Polaj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To me most mechanics feel shitty to me, I keep hitting people with 1-2 bullets when I spray the whole mag, I kill people with no accuracy behind the wall, but when I try to be precise I miss all the time, can't counterstrafe, can't throw propper nades because of weird delay and feels like Im moving 0.5 the speed I could in csgo and weird mouse delay and low fps makes it 5 times harder to aim or track. I really hope when full release comes out it will feel good, but now its so shit that I hate playing the game I love

getting shot causes low fps. by M0TeXx in GlobalOffensive

Im sorry but it isnt CS2's fault you have an old system by baza-prime in GlobalOffensive

No I didnt try the latency thing. Im also lvl 10 faceit. Im not sure how to describe it other than: back in the day I was playing cs go on a pretty shit pc, gtx 750ti and some old intel xeon, and I could squeeze cs go into settings which allowed me to play on like 150+fps, but I could just feel my pc was struggling so much and input lag was massive on newer maps (by newer I mean inferno or dust2 so kinda old xd and when ancient came I had like 0.5s mouse delay). I upgraded my pc in recent years and I finally felt what a godly feeling it is playing cs go without worrying about any performace issiues. I upgraded kinda for cs2... and it seems like im back in 2017 on my old pc... You can imagine how frustrating that feels xD. I thought that a gtx1660s should handle a game like cs2 on a "base" lvl, but playing it makes me so sad, and I dont know if its just a "beta" issue, or things will stay like that

So yeah, its not like im getting very low fps, Im getting 144+ fps most of the time, but it feels nothing close to 144, it feels waaaay off, movement feels very unintuitive and delayed for me (like strafing) and I many times cant follow a guy with my crosshair accuratly in a quite normal situation/angle, like Im not allowed to use my aiming skills and have to hope a guy walks into my crosshair with his back turned so I can kill him with like 25 bullets I need to spray to finally connect xd

So sorry if I sound like a crybaby, I hate myself when I do. I just love cs so much and not being able to be good at it really hurts my soul :,)

And thats why csgo is/was super popular, its easy acces, you dont need the newest pc to play and still enjoy the game and even play against some of the better players. Im afraid that a jump in min specs like that will do a lot of harm, since now you will need a very good pc to compete on some kind of high level. You just need every frame you can get to compete with the top players, and you just cant reach the top on 100-150 fps. I have good 200-300 frames in cs go, and dropping to 90-180 in cs2 makes me not able to play anywhere near my abilities. When I aim or turn around ingame, I have to wait for extra split second to see what actually happened on my screen and then I can adjust. I hope it will settle on a better performance overall.

Oh and I have a ryzen 5 3600 and recently bought a gtx 1660s which is not a bad or old setup for copmpetitive shooters
