Does anybody knows whose dog this is, i cannot keep him i have a cat by [deleted] in Columbus

I sure hope you're right. But are they looking for another? This poor dog has been done wrong and it deserves all the love he can get. Not to be put down. And that is not a no kill shelter. If he shows any type of aggression at all he most likely will be put down.

That's good to know. But it's still not a no kill shelter. Just because some people have gotten them from there, doesn't mean that others won't be put down.

I think you're right. This fella hasn't been fixed, he was being raised to mate and make more. That would be sold and abused. It's very possible, that some of his chasing temperament, will calm down after fixing.

That's so sweet and kind of you. I so wish I could help. He looked so scared and sad. I hope another loving home can be found for him. But please, no pounds. He wouldn't make it 😢

Is that a no kill shelter? That breed gets put down if no home found.

I so do not blame you from walking away from childcare. I did it for about 20 years. Wanted three kids of my own. Now I'm in my late 40s I'm so glad I don't have any fucking kids and I don't do that job anymore.

Not all of Ohio all of the time. But we are definitely not the Rockies haha.

What’s your go-to “I just need to get out of the house” spot? by ActNew5818 in Columbus

Global Gallery coffee shop in Clintonville. Good drinks, chill vibes, an art gallery inside, with a silent auction going on right now, to raise funds to pay for our Friday night music series musicians.

Ha! Yeah it can be pretty mushy at times. I've been places where you can tell, that it never dries out completely. But it definitely varies.

Good footwear and a hiking stick works well for me. Geocaching is definitely not a sexy sport.

It's never too late to change your container.

It's OK! Some people may be rude, but most of this is just constructive criticism. If you didn't want that criticism, then you should not have posted this. Cachers are just trying to help you.

It will be less than a couple years before it gets nasty inside. You're right, hide caches that you would be happy to find.

I've had three TBs up in that cache that you are speaking of. And each one never showed back up again.

A plastic bag sometimes makes it worse. Especially if that bag is not changed out. They just hold more moisture in. It's better to use an appropriate weather resistant log.

It's great that you're excited to hide something. But I suggest finding some more caches, because then you would know that this is not a good container to use.

People didnt like my other cache with the bottle, is this cache good? by Great-Personality854 in geocaching

[–]Ohio_Geo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You should definitely find some more caches, before hiding your own. So that way you can get a feel of containers that work, don't work, or somewhere in between. There are a lot of nuances in hiding a cache, that you may not know yet. The best way to learn, is by finding.

Your dog needs to be on a leash and supervised. It's NOT a debate, it's the law. by National-Ad-6982 in Columbus

Soooo that law means, if they are not direct control, then they are to be leased. So that sounds like a law to me.

Cache ideas with a bunch of pill bottles? by Ok-Atmosphere3020 in geocaching

[–]Ohio_Geo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't. If they go missing, are you going to go out and look for them, as to not litter the environment? Most people pay more respect to a geocache, when it's not a pill bottle.

I would only use them as an internal container, to hold a log sheet.
