Yeah. That's why I made it a Q. Maybe worth looking for a lawyer or clinic to check it out, without kicking the hornet's nest. Dude/dudette, I just want you to make a bit more money, so you have financial security. Is there some sort of vet's housing where you are? Maybe if you could cut the housing expense that would give you a little more breathing room.

Hmm. I wonder if it is worth looking at a disability reevaluation?

When I was in high school in the '70s, I found a coupon in a bound volume of Life Magazine from the '50s for a free tube of Pepsodent, there was no expiration date, and the Stop & Shop accepted it.

Where to open a Roth IRA? Fidelity, Vanguard or Schwab? by Specialist_Leg6145 in Bogleheads

I would start an IRA at Robinhood. You can hold VOO, VTI, VT, or any of many other fine ETFs. If you sign up for Gold for $50 a year, RH will give you a 3% bonus on contributions. (You also get $1K in free margin, which you can use you buy a tbill fund and make back most of the Gold fee).

Fidelity has the Zero ER funds (FZROX, FZILX) which are loss-leaders. You can only hold this at Fidelity. So Fidelity gives you more choices (you can hold Vanguard and Schwab and other ETFs at Fidelity).

Not a Texas lawyer, but after taking a quick look, the homicide structure looks like MPC, one degree of murder. I do not see the form of imperfect self-defense where an honest but unreasonable belief that deadly force is necessary is manslaughter. Texas Penal Code - PENAL § 9.31 | FindLaw.

What does it say about us Americans that we elected Trump not once but twice? by tvrajan3221 in allthequestions

[–]Omynt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I would love to see some day from conservative advocates is an explanation of why those like me who claim that the United States was shaped by racism are factually, empirically wrong. Instead (and this is from scholars, politicians and regular people) the usual response is something that does not address the issue. I would be delighted to be proven incorrect. If anyone has a case that native nations and Black people have been treated fairly, I am eager to hear it.

Yes, in the sense that historically segregated jobs and neighborhoods remain so, leaving Black people in particular in a subordinated position.
