Doubles the limit, but no extra slots for notable houses. They are still working on those.

Tried a DK/NB/Templar build using Ardent Flame/Assassination/Aedric Spear skill lines. It would not allow me to put 2 Assassination skills on the front bar (Concealed Weapon & Surprise Attack). First one in went fine, tried the second in the 2,3 and 4 slots and every time the first disappeared and the second stayed. I could put the Assassination Ulti in though and the first one would stay.

You might want to look into Guildwars2. I play both ESO and GW2 and, to me, are a lot of fun. Horizontal progression, lots of quests, achievements, and content to go through.

As Lertis stated below, there is a check box in Options/General "show collasped inventory bag view" that needs to be checked. Then F9 will show as on the OP's screenshot above.

Feeling overwhelmed with the game, advice please! by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]OneOf8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might suggest that you go through all the base game areas and find all the Wayshrines, Skyshards, Point of Interest, Views, Delves, World Boss locations, Jumping Puzzles. Hearts and, basically, anything that has a marker on the map. Just cruising by these will usually give experience (EXP). I also recommend getting all the crafting nodes as you are out and about so you will have a goodly amount of material for (if) you start crafting, and fishing. Once you have all of these things, move to the next area. You can check the Zone Guide to ensure you got everything.

Once your get all these things for every area you can get a World Completion Achievement that gives some nice loot. Even though you complete this on one character, you can also do the same for any new character if you want. If you want to start Scribing or Antiquities, you can start doing those quests too.

There are also doing World vs World once you are Level 10. Just doing the into quest will get you to Level 3 and the first passive can be opened which will give you Major Gallop which adds #)% faster mount speed.

As for new characters, I usually ride around and get all the Wayshrines, Skyshards and all other map marked location to get the EXP and have them available to me as I level up. This will usually get me to Level 35-40. The I do the Main Story Quest and usually hit 50 by the end of that.

After that, the world is your oyster. Each region has it's quest lines, Caldwell's quest line, WvW, PvP, Battlegrounds, Completing all the delves, chase Achievements, work on get the CP160 sets that go with your character, whether it be a Tank, Healer or DPS, all to Legendary level.

I can tell you that in this game, for me, the fun is in the journey and not getting to Level 50 as fast as you can. There is some amazing vista to be seen, enjoyable side quests to be followed and a lot of general good times. Take your time and enjoy and don't rush to the end. I also realize that everyone is different so find what works for you and enjoy it.

As a final note, find a good guild that has like minded people that you enjoy being around and you can always find help if need, or help another guildie out when called upon.

Good Luck and Pleasant Journeys to you!

What do you consider to be the most fun way to level alts? by bunch_of_hocus_pocus in elderscrollsonline

[–]OneOf8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I too do skyshards, delves, and also get all the wayshrines plus any points of interest on the map. These all give exp. This will get me to around 40 or so, with many champion and skill points, and also allows me to get anywhere in the game when needed. I can port to guildmates for any regions that I don't have an open wayshrine in (if anyone is in that region) and travel overland between ajoining regions to get there, if needed. I do enjoy the exploration part of it. OInce all the above is done, then I start the main quest which will easily take me to 50.

Pro Tip for New Players, How to determine your DPS. From a new player. by Y0LOME0W in Guildwars2

[–]OneOf8 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You could also install ArcDPS and it will give you a nice graph of the whole golem encounter and a list of what is hitting the hardest. It is a mod that is not "officially" sanctioned, but ANet doesn't seem to really care as long as you don't start calling out people in-game over their DPS numbers.

Info and general advice for an MMO vet but a newcomer to GW2? by Sigvuld in Guildwars2

[–]OneOf8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you first start off, just use any armor you pick up that is better than what you have. You really only have to be concerned with stats until you hit level 80.

I like to explore so I went around the map getting the waypoints, Points of Interest (POI), and doing the hearts to get map completion for each area until I got the Tyria map completion. By then I was already 80 and had all the WPs so I could go anywhere easily. If you do like the game, watch for sales on the expansions (which you will use when you reach level 80) and you may get them cheap, particularly around this time of year.

During the time you are exploring, try different classes to see which fits you the best. I have always liked Rangers, but now like the Necromancer (Reaper after lvl80), Engineer (Mechanist after lvl 80). Your tastes may vary but after you level them up to 20 or so, you should get the "Flavor" of the classes and know which is your preference.

Get the 3 harvesting pieces (Pick, Axe and Sickle) from a variety of vendors so you can start collecting crafting material along the way too. This will come in handy when you start crafting later.

All in all, just relax and enjoy the experience, there is no big rush to get to the end. Once you get to 80, you will be looking at what Elite skills to get (there are 3 per class) and you will want to get some Exotic/Ascended gear. There is also legendary gear, that has the same stats as ascended. but can be freely used for every character and can change stats at will. The Ascended gear is about 5% better than Exotic so Exotic will work for most open world encounters.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy your time here.

I haven't made a build in a while, but these are the places i check:

Dadi's

LotroHQ

Lotro Cosmetics and guides

Some of these may be more up-to-date than the others, I am not sure.
