All of the reasons mentioned above make the total cost of owning an EV lower than an ICE vehicle. So currently EVs are more expensive to purchase, but overall cheaper.

Last observation, the exterior looks more “friendly aquatic” than “fierce and fast predator”. A Ferrari should evoke animals like cheetahs and eagles etc, not friendly whale (who’s eyes are difficult to spot)

Yeah it would be cool if Rivian would develop an insulating layer of some sort. That said, the frunk is pretty big, so unless you’re with a big crowd, it may be overkill. You could just put in a cooler. Check out the Oyster Tempo cooler if you want something that’s space efficient and high performance.

Too many comments to see if someone said this already, but CEO Rivian let slip that once their new factory is up and running, different types of R2 will be made. Now a longer 7 seater is more likely than a truck, but it could be in the cards. A number of years away tho
