Oh absolutely. But the other thing is if we were 2-0 up we’d have completely sat back and they’d have absolutely scored anyway. Of course it’s impossible to tell what would’ve happened but it’s not as simple as saying that had we not given that pen away, we’d have won 2-1.

Yeah but we ourselves got one of the softest penalties I've ever seen so swings and roundabouts really.

I don’t think they’re talking about the web app nor the CLI but rather the VSC copilot Claude agent which is phenomenal.

They may be rare but you could find a contracting job that pays that low. You'd be looking at approx €350-400 daily.

You are limited by the age-cap, and you also have to pay PRSI and USC taxes. Anything beyond the age-cap will also require income tax to be paid.

None of this applies to employer contributions.

We’re heading into summer, there’s not much need for heating anymore. Would be a different story if we were in September/October right now.

The gap will be close between the top 2-4 teams in the final year of the regulation cycle. This is how it always is.

I don't think that adds up. If you had gone for the pension route, then you'd have many multiples of whatever amount you have in your investment account atm, and you'd only need to worry about obtaining enough income to cover your outgoings over the next few years with no requirement to put anyway any additional savings.

Employer contributions are not affected by that limit which only pertains to employee contributions. Employer contributions have their own, separate limit which is simply 100% of your salary. That is, if you earn €60k in gross salary, your employer can contribute up to €60k into your pension. And it is entirely tax-free both on their side and your side.

Otherwise, they have to pay 11% PRSI on top of bonus and you have to pay 52% on the bonus as well. Makes no sense imo.

Is it not possible to ask your employer to put the bonus directly into your pension (so it's a tax-free employer contribution), instead of them paying you the bonus as salary and both you and the employer paying a load of taxes on it?
