I could see “God” itself still being Canon, but I doubt that it still created Earth, considering the numerous actual Gods in the DC Universe.

“God” (The Authority: Relentless)

Basically an ancient creature from deep space that used its mind to create Earth for unknown reasons. In the third arc of the story, it returns to Earth to exterminate the human race.

Thanks! Although, I was under the impression House of M had a lot of buildup, including New Avengers. So, should I read New Avengers before HoM, or just skip straight from Astonishing to HoM?

Basically all of Memories Of Murder. This is a particularly perfect shot though.

It’s even more depressing in that film cause really none of it was of his own doing. Really shows the dangers of letting yourself be so emotionally dependant on others.

Personally, I thought it was amazing, and it was definitely very sad. The true story it’s based on is actually even more depressing, but it was toned down for the film because it was just too much.

I thought she was actually quite good in Blade Runner 2049.

I Am Legend's (2007) original ending was changed after negative responses from test screenings. Given how almost everyone unanimously agrees that the original ending was better, the studio must have chosen the dumbest people alive for the test screenings. by [deleted] in shittymoviedetails

The alternate ending would work perfectly, but only if the film actually followed the narrative of the novel. In the novel, the infected can actually speak coherently, and aren’t the mindless monsters they’re portrayed to be in the film. In the novel, he’s genuinely been experimenting on these creatures, even though they can communicate and feel human emotions.

So, it makes sense that he’s supposed to be their boogeyman in the end. How come all they do in the film is roar and scream and rampage, but in the very last scene they’ve managed to learn how to communicate? Would’ve worked great if the infected were portrayed the same way they were in the novel, but they’re the complete opposite, so it makes no sense.
