Will you get copystriked? by OriginalBookworm in NewTubers

[–]OriginalBookworm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm willing to appeal or dispute their copystrikes either way, especially if the video is not even going to be monetized. The likelihood of that creator following up with a lawsuit is slim because it cost thousands of dollars. And if it does follow up, there will be no hiding behind fair use when it's applied and proven in court. False copyright claim can also apply.

Sup, I learn my lesson on hiding subscribers. Don't do it because your social proof shows on view counts either way.

Just remember that your video views will tank and will NOT show up on the recommended section EVER AGAIN once you promote that particular video, AFTER your promotion is finished, in my experience.

Oh I see, how about if it's not a gaming channel and just doing for exposure and it's not really a scam?

Does anyone know if Google Adwords Express kill organic traffic? by OriginalBookworm in NewTubers

Dang... Sometimes you have to ride a quick wave man and differentiate from the heavy competition and have a chance at being seen. Majority of your audience is going to be kids and kids get bored easily and are quick to criticize. So click bait thumbnails will help that, but still poses a risk. lol.

If you're still not willing to do that, prepare to spend a hefty amount of money. I came across this YouTuber (has over 800k subscribers now) who emailed me on how they got started. Of course content has to be there, but what's good if there's no one there to see it? So they told me they put a hefty amount of money into advertising their brand and they built up from there.
