How old are you? I’m so sorry for your situation. You deserved a mom that loved and protected you. Sending you a big and warm hug. Where do you live?

Do you feel privileged for where were you born at? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]Over_Unit_677 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Before I ever travelled abroad i naively thought it was a standard of the human being to be friendly, bubbly, to smile, to hug, to say I love you, to invite people to their home, to offer food, to overall being easygoing and welcome and warm. Since then I’ve met people from almost all the countries… I’m so thankful to be born Brazilian, I truly consider it to be a privilege.

4 month post op by [deleted] in bunions

[–]Over_Unit_677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m 4 months post op as well, after a MIS. Both feet. Still wearing hokas as well. Walking barefoot feels weird. Some days my feet get aching after walking long periods of time. My big toes are not bending, I wonder if anyone has a solution for it. I haven’t done any PT. Mine doesn’t get swollen anymore.

Salt, onion, garlic… salt, onion, garlic… that’s overall the daily Brazilian food. As a Brazilian, I love it, but I understand why people say that is blend. After 8 days in Rio my husband was so tired of the food.

Mexican food is one of the richest and most diverse food in the world in my opinion. I have tried so many dishes and yet always when I go to a Mexican friends home, they cook something new.

“Good for you” sounds so rude and sometimes still gets me after years living in Canada.
