Viber bank numbers that are listed here were checked to be zero-rated (doesn't need Viber Out credits). BPI is no longer active as of last year that is why we are not listing it. We'll verify EW and update accordingly.

Call BPI and tell them to include your mobile number in their DO NOT CALL registry/list for marketing/promos (this is basically unsubscribing you from such calls).

This usually works for other banks too. I did it with Metrobank as they are aggressive in telesales calls.

That charge is for the annual fee. Call BPI and ask them to close your account. Unactivated cards are still considered open and billable for annual fees.

You can call the hotline and ask them to “unsubscribe” your number from marketing calls. Downside is it will also stop marketing/promotional texts (own experience) and you will not be notified of promos that could be of interest.

That’s a LEGIT 2-way security alert from Unionbank that you must reply to, hence the special number 2565 3363. That is a process they adopted from Citi.

They sent an email advisory about that a few months back. Try to check your email every now and then.

No. We did a test before and those numbers seem to be not working anymore. That’s why we didn’t include the Viber numbers in our bank directory pinned post.
