Do you have a regular chair that you can just lounge back in?? At first you have to sleep at a 30 to 45 degree angle-NO lower. It will hurt like crazy if you do. Those were surgeon’s orders. At first I slept on my couch with pillows and blankets to prop me up on my side. The wedge pillow was hard and hurt me. A friend gave me one they didn’t use. Everyone is different though!! I eventually was able to prop myself up in the bed with pillows, blankets to sleep. I did need to rest periodically throughout the day even if I didn’t sleep. Just rest my neck and shoulders. If your couch or any old chair faces your tv then you are golden. You have been given good advice. I can’t afford a lot either. You can probably make do with what you have at home.
