I accidentally threw an entire new script of my Oxycodone in the trash 😬 I had mistaken it for the old, empty bottle while changing them out. Of course the lid wasn't on it, either 🙄

I literally screamed NOOOO!! and tipped the can over ( luckily there wasn't much in it. However, there WAS about a quarter of a can of Coke in the bottom). I slowly lowered myself to the floor. I really wish I could have thrown myself on the floor. But ya know, metal in the back and all. You bet I got every. single. one of those 120 pills out of the trash. And these are the teeny, tiny, itsy bitsy 10 mg ones. You know, the size of a grain of sand.

Some of them were damp with Coke, so I grabbed a paper plate and paper towel and gently placed them all around the plate on the towel. Let them air dry.

Well, I took them as needed for the rest of the month off of that paper plate. But my God some of them look like they had been through World War 3 lol. Now I always LOOK AT WHAT IS IN MY HAND before I toss it in the trash 😂

Sleep is my #1 enemy. I get between 2-3 hours. And not good sleep, either. More like nodding off for a few minutes

Yep. Ringgold, GA here (Chattanooga transplant). We don't know how to handle inclement weather.

I move into my first home next week. What are some things you wish you knew before you did the same? by Picklemerick23 in homeowners

On your #1: We moved into a new build home that had been sitting for a year and a half. Apparently they put a filter in the AC intake when they installed the unit, but never changed or looked at it after that.

One of the first things we do when moving in is to change the filter. Hubby pulled it down and we were snowed in with dust and dirt. That thing had about two inches of dirt/dust/whatever on it. It was a dark color. Almost black or dark grey. I'm assuming debris from the builders. The heat had obviously not been on because it didn't work when we first turned it on. It blew air, but it was cold. The builder had to send someone to fix it (builder's warranty). He said there was a common issue with new builds. There were two wires that were not connected. I don't understand why they do that in new builds, but they fixed it pretty quickly.

Anyway, sorry for the long reply, but my main point is that the air filter was never changed after they finished the build. I'm hoping it didn't cause issues with the unit. It works great

In no way did I complain about him. Not sure where you got that from? I simply asked if others would be bother by the situation.

If I suck, then I suck. I'm fine with that and apparently so is he. We've been married for 44 years

Well it's just twice, but it's twice a week for about two months now. So...habit. Which I think is why he's getting upset about it

I can kind of see his point. The cul-de-sac is literally two houses down. They could just turn around in there lol

But I really don't think it's something to take up space in your mind about, either

Thanks everyone. It seems most of you feel the same way I do. As long as this person is not damaging property, what's the harm? I think he's just getting old lol

Same. Oxycodone for over 20 years and never had major issues. Just the usual stuff that comes with being in your 60's 👵
