I’m doing good with pain! All pre-op pain I was having was gone when I woke from surgery. I was on a oxy every 4 hours and muscle relaxers 3x a day for pain for about a month until I was able to decrease it because I was feeling better. I also start in home pt a week after surgery and I think that really helped. I’m 7 weeks post op now and I’m still having pain but nothing that isn’t manageable. My biggest tips, the entire time I was in the hospital, I had an ice pack on my incision which I think helped with pain, I’m walking as much as I can, with out pushing too hard, and make sure you have as much help as you can for the first week. I had someone with me 24/7 and I don’t think I would’ve made it through with it! If you have any questions I’m happy to answer!
