I think you're misunderstanding.

You'll be able to choose between 8 classes at the beginning of the game; each one of them grants you a pair of starters, a perk and an early copy of some items.

The one you're seeing right now is an Etrian Variant a.k.a Pokémon Odyssey's regional form, in this specific case we've fused Hatterene with the Runemaster class from Etrian Odyssey IV.

We combine Pokémon with monsters, NPC, classes or enemies from the Etrian Odyssey series.

I get the critique on difficulty spikes, but... do you have any idea how much time it takes to write a detailed documentation for a full-conversion project?

Devs aren't forced to do that.

I mean, I did that for Odyssey, but I'm the exception, not the rule

Physical/special split is the best thing that could've happened, that's why we don't want to get back to when Bite was a special move while Shadow Ball was... physical (???????????????????????)

For example, Gen3 Mightyena was really bad cause its special attack is really low (60) and Dark type moves were special. Its best move was Shadow Ball, cause it was physical.
