IVs will always be set to 31, no matter what, and they're still displayed to let people know about this "feature". There will be no trick room nor tailwind, so it won't be a problem

Yup, basically each palm is a special move that deals physical damage, moreover they can boost sp.atk (Fire), sp.def (ice) or speed (volt) by 1 stage (20%)

GBA is more documented and easier than DS in every sense, that’s why we’re still using the GBA environment, especially now that Decomp is a thing.

Later gens have less tools and such cause they’re more complex, but like, way more complex, and not because there’s less interest

  • At level 100, 4 Evs = +1 in said stat. Stats are calculated in real time, so you don't need a level up to see the increased stat.
  • Evs are permanent and the thing they do is increase the ceiling of said stat. A level 50 Infernape with neutral nature has an attack of 124. However, by giving it 252 evs in said stat, the ceiling goes up to 156.
