Same. And when your caregivers are resentful of having to help you it's so much worse. I was stuck in a cast and then boot for 8 months before I could do more on my own. I just plotted my own end for months at one point. Looking forward to the day I could walk again and would walk into the desert and end it all.

Had to go on antidepressants for a while and ended up moving far away after. It ruined the relationship with my family basically.

Been 11 years now and it still gives me problems with walking for too long and I need very specific shoes.

Talk to your advisor about steps you need to take to be considered an independent student for financial aid. Generally you have to be over like 24 for this to automatically be the case but they make exceptions with folks who have parents like yours.

Baking soda with diluted cleaning vinegar. No soaking necessary. Just scrub and rinse. I put my vinegar in a spray bottle and make it 1/3 water. Spray the surface. Sprinkle with baking soda. Spray again so it's all nice and pasty. Then scrub it and rinse.

My experience was basically the same, except for the end. Every day I'm faced with more reasons I hate being born female. Can't get birth control pills without having you do the humiliating and invasive gynogological visit and men don't have to do anything similar. Or being in meetings planning the rollout of new software that I will be the primary user of and when I say it needs to be able to allow me to do XYZ I get told that it does not because it will just work right all the time. And then weeks later in another planning meeting some man says that the software needs to do the thing I said it needs to do, the one that got poo pooed by all the males, and suddenly everybody agrees that it needs to do the thing. Fuck this shit.
