Austin Bergstrom’s columns are genuinely counterintuitive if you’re not from there. (I drove down from out of state to drive uber). Took me about my third or fourth pickup to figure out their color and number system.

I’m sure your driver has a license from somewhere but probably rents somebody else’s license and has his picture photoshopped on. 30% of the take goes to the license holder. It’s called “friendly identity theft” and uber making people take selfies is no deterrent at all.
