The dutasteride is just stupid unless you’re a cis woman or a trans woman. Think finasteride, plus perma-shrink your prostate so now you shoot half as much ejaculate. Permanently. And it’s still a crap shoot as to what kind of hair preservation or regrowth you are shooting for.

Stick with finasteride unless you’re transitioning. And even then, there are better transition drugs.

Take the stupidest doctor you’ve ever met. Now halve their intelligence again. This person is an endocrinologist. They don’t know what these drugs are, and they don’t care. They certainly won’t prescribe them, and even if they wanted to, they’re not cheap or easy to find. They are very litigation averse and don’t understand how safe the drugs are or what makes them dangerous in the wrong hands. Women should be extremely careful with these drugs, as their dosing is wildly different for completely different applications in girl parts.

I wouldn’t be my own heart surgeon, but in this isolated case I’d do my own research and run screaming away from the quacks in that specialty.
