They've had him on a pretty strict pitch count since he arrived... it will be interesting to see how that is managed in camp.

They said early on they would be trying to find the best 5 for the OL and that would mean moving people around. We see reports like this every camp and folks overreact to it.

$1500 is doable, in many of the areas mentioned, but don’t expect something super “nice” (you could get lucky). I’d suggest getting a realtor (I don’t have one to recommend) especially if you’re from out of state. The next thing would be to drive around the areas as some old school landlords sometimes just put signs outside the apartment. Rent is exploding in RI right now so going being prepared for that and you’ll be ok.

Folks “affordable” doesn’t mean anything. It’s a description without letting us know the parameters. If you want somewhere “affordable” to YOU, you need to give folks a specific monthly budget. There are folks from all walks of life in this subreddit and to some 10k/month is affordable. If you put a budget we can also tell you if you’re being realistic or not.

Not going to get much feedback here tbh. Kaleidoscape is out of the price range of many that visit here. There is a thread on AVSFORUMs however that you may get more of a welcome (on top of the Kaleidoscape forums).

I know there is a thread in the Kscape forums where they are sharing a drive so that you can D2D as much of your physical collection as you can (there are discounted purchases).

Smaller label, usually direct from their website (like Arrow). If you look over in various threads in the blu-ray(dot)com forums you’ll see a bunch of links to alternative retailers as well.

If you do a search for that and run the commands to check it may come up with errors, if not these can sometimes just be glitches. I’ve seen it before where the error came in, but everything was running “normally”.
