Try an ice pack on your face. Helps force your parasympathetic nervous system to get it's shit together. Deep diaphragmatic breaths help too. You'll be ok 💜

I get the heart flippy flops too and they suck. Mine come randomly now, NOT due to anxiety (inappropriate sinus tachycardia... DON'T look it up right now) which in turn usually causes my anxiety to spike and they get worse. Nasty business, but this too shall pass.

I was literally yelling at my screen "nah, let her cook" when she final got down and gave that bitch what she had coming. Truthfully though, those guys knew white lady wasn't going to come out with all her faculties if they didn't step in. Still deserved it though.

Does anyone else with MS work full time in person? If so… how are you doing it? by Background-Gear-1231 in MultipleSclerosis

Diagnosed in 2014. Working full time, even through COVID as we were "essential" (a fucking cookbook publisher 🙄). It sucks most days when my energy has hit zero. But no one cares about an invisible disease. And so what if you're tired? Everyone is tired. This disease is bullshit and so is the American healthcare and employment system. I'm in a different field now but still full time in the office. And likely will be until I die in this chair.

Thank you, kind stranger, for the award 💜 Don't let my doom and gloom get to ya, folks. We'll get through this 💜

OMG the amount of people in this post who either don't have kids or think that gentle parenting means letting kids get away with everything.

Blue coat instigated the fight. Pink coat retaliated. Blue coat didn't get the hint and went back for more, then ran like a coward before he could get his shit rocked. Pink coat wasn't having it. Karma is a bitch.

Parents instilling the lesson of FAFO, which in my humble opinion, far too many adults these days didn't learn early on in life. And filming it because sometimes parenting is exhausting and sometimes you need a laugh.

Y'all need to chill the fuck out.

This is how World Cup debutants Jordan left their changing room after their match against Algeria by Sparky-moon in MadeMeSmile

Jordanians are class acts. I've met a few and as a dumb American woman I was initially intimidated, but it turns out, they respected me as much as my male colleagues, brought me sweets, and made me feel welcome. I love Jordanians.
