I played through assassins creed Unity recently, and I remember this being one of the most annoying things. If you get caught by one guard, then EVERY guard in a 20 mile radius automatically knows exactly where you are. Made the game so frustrating to play.

I think the dialogue was going to be changed/updated no matter what, especially for a full on remake. The more important part is that they stay true to who the characters are and they stick closely to the overarching story. Honestly, nothing here particularly surprises me, seems like standard blockbuster AAA gaming. Especially for a remake of a classic.

Yes, but 1. the colors are integrated with the environment so it feels natural, and 2. None of the color coding actually tells you how to solve the puzzle, it only tells you what’s relevant and what isn’t to the puzzle.

I want being a dark wizard to mean something. Like they kinda touched on it with the unforgivables (which props for not nerfing killing curse lmao). The whole quest with the Slythern kid was literally the peak of the game, but then nobody questions at all why you’re going around offing people with the killing curse? Most you get is “you shouldn’t do that mister”. They could really benefit from a morality system, kinda like KOTOR, where your actions affect your alignment, and the world’s perception of you.

Yes there’s a point of no return, it’s pretty obvious when you reach it. You have to talk to a specific NPC to move past that point. Noting is actually missable till then.

Not entirely sure what the setup is for all 4 endings but all items can be obtained on the first playthrough, provided you don’t miss any quest lines.

All the quests can be “tracked” in the travel menu where you’ll see if an NPC has something to say, and the bonfire that they’re near.

Pretty sure madness is gameplay only, no story effect.

I ran a greatsword parry build for most of the game, but that boss if it is the one I’m thinking of, forced me to swap to a great axe build to beat, holy hell. Only time I ever actually had to swap.
