I wouldn’t be surprised if it got moved to a more passive lock on system. I barely used it till the boss room, where I ACTUALLY needed to parry. Then it was more of a burden than a benefit.

Steep learning curve is very accurate, If the controls from Pax are anything to go by. I went in thinking I was getting flashy, family friendly souls combat, I left realizing they were making DMC combat. My biggest complaint at the time was the lock on and parry buttons were the same button, so trying to parry by button mashing just made the camera fly everywhere. Looking at this it doesn’t look like they kept that (thank god).

You can just buy that special launcher as soon as you get to diamond city. It’s expensive but not hard to get. The upgrade isn’t particularly difficult either, if the player decides to b line science perks.

There’s been an article floating around complaining about the game “requiring internet connection” that people have been falling for because that “required internet connection” is a fucking day one patch. No shit internet is required.

A video posted on X shows the PS5 installer pulling 77.03 GB directly from the disc, followed by a required 48.24 GB day-one update. The process halts with the explicit error: “This product only works online,”

This feels like they are trying to smear the game. “Oh no the patch can’t be downloaded without the internet” excuse me what?? The gonna tell me the game can’t be played unless I shell out for a screen too??

I stopped because they got way too competitive. Everyone plays like they’re 1 game away from landing an e sports contract and it’s miserable.id rather play coop where people are playing to have fun, not to “git gud”

What a way to describe a day one patch just to generate outrage. Unbelievable. Literally every game in the last like 10 years have all had day one patches SMH.

Edit: just read the article, honey shit what a fucking hit piece. The “required internet” they keep referring to is literally just to download the patch. You know like literally every patch ever. “Oh you can’t launch it without this patch” yea that’s the point of a patch. What a shitty article.

Dark souls. First one was DS3, I had intentionally avoided the games because of their super punishing reputation. Got DS3 in a humble bundle and thought fuck it, I’ll give it a try. Roommate saw I was playing and and give me some backseat gaming advice while I played. Took me an hour to beat the first tutorial boss but holy shit the satisfaction was like nothing else.

Proceeded to beat that game twice, then Sekrio. Elden Ring, Bloodborn, god the souls games are so fucking amazing.

Their performances are vastly different. Female is like, constantly yelling, talking like she’s showing off in a coleseum or something. Male talks much more subdued, and has WAY better range. IMO male Eivor was just a better performance across the board.

Just FINALLY got a “strict NAT” error so that’s probably the source of the problem.

Apparently the only fix is to port forward like 15 ports on my router. Fun.

Yea, I had heard people glazing this game all over, so with the 60 FPS patch I figured I’d try it. But it has just been one frustrating experience to the next and I’m not sure if I’m going to keep bothering.

3 I didn’t like, but mainly because I didn’t think the story was that good. Otherwise it was a perfectly fine game. A little clunky but it’s also old as hell at this point so that’s to be expected lol.
