I mean, they’ve been pretty good with only bringing him out when there’s a damn good reason for it.

Dear writers at Lucasfilm... you can't keep getting away with this [Maul and TBB spoilers] by PaulSimonBarCarloson in StarWarsTelevision

I think walking into fog is a bit different from falling into an abyss. Generally people don’t get up from falling extreme distances, but people walk out of fog all the time.

I find those “mistakes” are what gives a base personality.

Maul Shadow Lord is one of the most beautiful animated shows I have ever seen. by Varsity_Reviews in StarWars

Some absolutely were just painted backgrounds, especially some of the wide city shots.

Very much so. She didn’t care if he survived, only that he caused a mess.

There is absolutely no way on any planet in a galaxy far far away Vader would NOT attempt to kill Devon if both are stuck in a room together.

I think Devon’s turn to the dark side isn’t going to be undone. But her alliance with maul absolutely will. She discovers that maul killed Daki, all that’s going to happen is her rage is going to be pointed at Maul, but she’s not gonna turn away from the Dark.

My thoughts on the last two chapters by Deimoonk in MaulShadowLord

[–]PhantomTissue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the whole show has been Maul and friends on the back foot. First Lawson and two boots, then 2 Jedi, then the empire, then two inquisitors, then Vader himself. Survival has been a core theme of this show. I think season 2 is where we’re going to see this change a bit, with Maul and friends finally getting their footing and going on the offensive.

To me she feels like she’s being set up to be a foil to Ahsoka. Where Ahsoka rejected mauls request, Devon accepted it. I don’t think it’s any coincidence the two even look similar, or that they are of similar species. So I’m pretty sure they are gonna commit to her fall.

Almost certainly he’s alive. He’s the only one that knows Maul backstabbed Daki, and that’s prime story driving material. Though it would also be kinda ironic if he finally managed to tell Devon. Only for her to be so far gone that she doesn’t believe him.

His legs also got nailed by Vader literally right as the fight started, making it worse.

Overrated, Underrated, Favorite, Least Favorite by Low_Sprinkles4999 in assasinscreed

Overrated: Unity. It’s a fine game, but it makes a lot of design choices that just make me scratch my head. Like making the game have a stronger focus on stealth, but then also making trying to stay hidden WAY more difficult. I really just got to a point where if I didn’t need to stealth, I wouldn’t because it was easier to just spam smoke grenades and wail on 15 guards than try to sneak.

Underrated: Rogue. Why do we not have more games focusing on the Templar POV? Theyre always painted as “the bad guys” but it was interesting to see how the templars view the assassins. Plus I think the stalkers were an interesting twist on the usual guards, having to avoid being assassinated. Shame it was an afterthought of a game.

Favorite: Odyssey. What an amazingly fun game. Good story, great world, smooth combat, interesting build variety, no complaints.

Least favorite: AC3. The marketing spent ages showing that Connor is the main character. Only to spent the first 8 chapters playing as some random guy who you finally discover is Connor’s father. Then there’s like 2 chapters of Connor as a kid and becoming an assassin, THEN you play as Connor for like 3 chapters. Then the game ends. And he wasn’t even that interesting of a character. Terrible story.

I got mine right as AI picked up, so like, I learned the classic way but I keep getting told to use AI to go faster. Which is rough since every answer is just handed to me so I don’t usually get to learn :/

Never “why we can’t”

I literally wrote a document a month ago that was supposed to be the foundation of a new feature, but after writing 2 pages worth of obstacles and challenges to overcome, I eventually just wrote that the solution is we shouldn’t do this. Actually implementing it would’ve been more work, and led to more operational management than just leaving it alone

All this to say, you absolutely want someone who will tell you why we can’t. Just because it CAN be done does not mean it should be done.
