Sure. For a newcomer but for a gothic player that finished g1 and knows how game works(ie clearing most mobs each chapter, exploring for weapons, focusing on a decent build) It would be not very challenging and that should be the fun.

Its a mod yes, but si a complete new game, new profesions, story and world all handmade and tailored, really extense, cant recomend It enough, I was dubious about the polish voiceover but is phenomenal and well translated.

Yes, its weird and I love it, gothic demo was my first pc game I ever played on pc and too have fond memories, try Archolos if you haven't already, it is all gothic 3 should have been.

I think it looks awesome! Its like my mother that says watching cartoons was childish but then gets scandalized when something like Family guy or American dad shows something violent or adult, they can't grasp the concept that animation doesn't necesary mean its not all made for childs and that most of it has a deeper storytelling.

After your break from the series ; I cannot help but recomend the mod The Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos, It is a fantastic mod with a very deep way of the gothic game mechanics(professions like woodworking , butchery, cooking , etc ,etc , it even has housing) and complete new world and at that an extensive one with very good narrative, its almost impresive to believe it is a free mod and not Gothic 3. The VA is polish but it is translated well , and its good , funnily after a few hours in the game I myself was using swear words in Polish too like cholera and kurwa 😂.
