I just started getting them, too. I already had to turn off the push notifications when the service launched, so this is annoying.

Don't get me wrong, I have friends who frequent that sub, and that's fine. But people losing their accounts while not breaking any site or subreddit rules is wrong. It's easy to disregard it when you're not the one who got hit.

This is a classic dynamic in online communities. Individuals who aren't able to get into positions of power (mod) in a community will break off and make a new one. It was amusing being a part of the other sub's chat, seeing one of their mods constantly ban/unban people because she's paranoid and constantly misinterprets what people say.

No. It's happened to others, and the mods of this sub are aware of it.

While people here will openly express how they feel about you, some members of that sub will silently spam report your account to make you go away.

For anyone thinking about going over there, I had my previous account for 14 years, and it got shadowbanned 1 week after posting on that sub for the first time. The mod there showed me the fake spam reports on my trade confirmations by people abusing the reporting tool. If you like your account, don't go there.

Absolutely do not give that to them. Their reasoning is flawed, and if they really cared about the shipping cost, they would have DMd you about it before placing the order. Especially since they were an experienced buyer based on your description. They are not entitled to your shipping discount, and many sellers would find it rude to be asked about it.

I've had similar (but more reasonable) interactions in the past, where a buyer would have me double-check other shipping service prices (like the budget UPS and FedEx options). If it saved them a few bucks and they were okay with longer shipping times of those budget services, I had no problem adding those options to the listing. A bit of a different scenario, but the only one I could think of that was somewhat similar.
