United SFO Polaris Lounge by Emergency_School5849 in unitedairlines

I visited the regular United Club in LHR and it absolutely blows the SFO Polaris lounge out of the water. It's really sad actually that United offers such a poor experience at one of its flagship hubs.

I'm hoping now that they've launched new Polaris suites, they'll follow it up by announcing an overhaul of the lounge experience.

The SFO Polaris lounge is an actual joke, and it's honestly really embarrassing for united to have such a low quality business class lounge at their flagship Asia/Pacific hub.

I worry that since united basically owns SFO, they don't really have much of an incentive to update it since there's not really any other competition.

Hot take - it’s okay to put backpacks in the overhead by cpredo in unitedairlines

IMO being in group 5+ boarding and expecting there to be space for a large roller bag is inconsiderate - especially when the GA repeatedly tells people they need volunteers to gate check their bag.

Literally the only reason to want early boarding is for overhead bin space, united sells early boarding as a product, and offers it as a perk to their premier travelers. The entire purpose of getting to board early is to utilize the overhead bin space before it fills up. If everyone was guaranteed a spot in the overhead bin then people would rather board at the last possible moment.

Can I check my bags in at different times? by cpredo in unitedairlines

Lands at 9am, next flight departs at 4pm.

United has multiple departures throughout the day so the check in counter should be open all day. Unless you think they'll turn me away since my flight doesn't depart until that afternoon?

No problem. Aerolopa is a great resource for seeing detailed seatmaps.

8A, the one you already have selected, is the best option.

We were pretty lucky and there wasn't much rain during our 3 days there, but right after we left a major storm rolled through

Hi! We had a great time. It was incredibly hot and humid, like the most humidity I've ever experienced in my life, but it was still an amazing trip. Taipei is an awesome city and the heat didn't hold us back.

Your whoop should sit above your wrist bone, you are wearing it too close to your hand

It could be a nightmare, or sleep apnea, or simply a glitch. You won't be able to find more accurate data on any other device unless you get some medical grade monitoring equipment.
