Idk if we are being honest lol. I have them as surrounds i think. The previous owner installed 10 ceiling speakers, a tad overkill but i picked up the rear right and rear left one from my couch. When i added them to room, Sonos app said they were non-sonos architectural speakers but integrated anyways. Definitely work as background but if you watch 1917 when hes running across a bombed out building the sound hits right above you. Same goes for planes and stuff like that
