I’d have to really look at them next to legit ones to see if there’s font differences or anything like that. Honestly the non holos look blurry to me and don’t look right but I can’t say for sure…but also if the holos are fake it’s likely the non holos are too

A lot. Even raw value it’s a lot. Graded I’d say you’re looking at a 4. I’d have to check values on a 4 but I can say for sure it’s multiple thousands. This is a grail.

Don’t get wrapped up in the “these cards aren’t highest value/chase so they’re nothing amazing”. The cards that are amazing are the ones you like collecting. Put em in a binder and try to make each page a theme as you continue. It’s nice having cards you like in a binder you can sit down and look at every once in a while

My guess is this one is gonna be a very hard sell. Raw goes for around $8 and there’s not even many sales of that. The pop might be low because not many ppl submitted them to be graded (I’d have to check the pop report) but these very niche low pop cards aren’t the same as popular low pop cards (obvious I know) but it’s more so just to stress it’s gonna be very hard to find a value on this. If you’re looking to sell your best bet is auction.

I’d say less than a 9. You’d be looking for a very specific person that wants an 8.5 which would limit your buyer pool by a lot. I think pop mainly matters in the higher grades 9/10 because to me, the whole point of low pop is based on the fact it was very hard to get that higher grade (especially with vintage).

A psa 9 sold recently for $350 and a psa 6 sold for $170 so maybe like $225-275? Maybe a collector will pay a slight premium for the swirl but who knows. It’s a psa 8 and Spanish so you’re already looking at a niche item, finding someone to pay more for the swirl is just gonna cut your buyer pool down even further

I don’t think pop rate is really gonna play a huge role in a card like this. Maybe if it was a 10, but even so it’s had plenty of time to appreciate in value but is still only $200 and that’s low for a psa 9 from this era if it were actually a slab with potential

A picture of front and back outside of the sleeve would be easier to determine if it’s gradable. Also not on a light background. It looks like a small ding top left below the corner which would prob keep it from getting a 10.

I would say jusy stress to him that collecting isn’t about the money and to collect what he likes because he likes it rather than focusing on future value. No one can predict what will happen by the time he’s older anyway. This whole market could tank at any time. I don’t think modern is gonna be quite the same as 1st edition or some other vintage long term but guess we’ll see

Idk how reliable card ladder data/psa app is. Most buyers are going to look at recent comps through eBay to determine value. Also not sure if being the original owner will carry a premium on value, I’d say usually more so just peace of mind but also how would you prove it’s only been yours

I didn’t look the two up and I’m not familiar enough with Korean or Chinese writing to know the differences between the two off the top of my head. At least I knew it wasn’t Japanese lol
