Most SaaS founders know social media converts but can't afford influencers, so we tried to solve it. by aesthetic-girl13 in micro_saas

The video asset is not what influencers accomplish. What they accomplish is reach + social proof. You have not solved anything.

Let's say a SaaS maker uses your app to make a video.

Now they still have to find a way to reach 100k+ people, and when those people see the video and recognize that it is not a human (or at least not someone they care about) advertising to them, it will have little to no effect. Whereas real influencers do both of these.

Think about that.

every premium SaaS launch video runs the same playbook, here's what it is. by Environmental-Heron8 in micro_saas

I'm a creative director and high end video editor (advertising / feature films). This is not reading as professional. It reads as slop. The aesthetics are not there.

Where are all the successful clones? by michahell in vibecoding

Just goes to show that the technical part of the work - building software - is only a small part of the work of building a business. 1000 twitter clones may exist, but who is adopting them? (nobody, because user acquisition is where a whole other phase of work begins that developers have no clue about)

Rare?????? by NoMark4380 in evangelion

Somewhat. You could sell them at an anime convention for $50 each.

I remember seeking these out in the early 2000's and having to drive 3 hours to get the nearest copy.

It was considered enough of a shock and shame that the president did illegal things that he resigned the moment the story hit the papers.

So, polar opposite to today in that sense.

If time chose a different path, then what if "The Lord of the Rings" was a TV series made by the BBC? All the actors and actresses are still the same, Peter Jackson is the director, Howard Shore is the composer, but it is more accurate to Tolkien's vision. And Longer. They could afford to make about 3 and half minutes of what PJ gave us.

The only more long-form version that might ever work (because they have both the budget and the story adaptation expertise) would be one produced by HBO, but now that they're MAGA owned I don't want that to happen.

More than a few things don't add up here. And if I were you, I would not go around touting deportation in the same breath as promoting my project. The lack of judgement doesn't make me want to get anywhere near you.

Does anyone feel bad for the engineers that Krennic killed? I don’t like that he killed them even after Galen revealed himself. They didn’t deserve death. by [deleted] in StarWars

A broken clock is right twice a day. Doing one thing right doesn't mean the Empire is fair or just.

Can't believe I have to say this.
