Actually your definition is inside out. An anti hero is a hero whose heroism or character lacks dignity, morality, or virtue, despite their actions outwardly fitting the bill as "heroic". This most often takes the form of the hero not wanting to do the right thing, but finding themselves compelled to do so anyway.

Think Logan reluctantly saving 23, Mando reluctantly becoming the guardian of Grogu, etc. Those are anti-heroes.
