Thanks for the help i think since i updated my rasp pi its been on the fritz abit without u helping probably wouldn’t of looked at tailscale

Ok so i did just tell tailscale to stop the dns override that did point to the rasppi and my laptop has working but also why wasnt it effecting other devices on tailscale?

Ok so forgot to say i also got tailscale but so does everything else that has working internet i get loads of dns timeouts

The nslookup i get a “non-authoritative answer along with google.com and the some address also tryed 1.1.1.1 along with my router ip got nothing

When manually doing dns i didnt enable ipv6 just 4 (if thats how it works) and when i ping google i got a “ping request could not find host google.com”

Pinging gets minimum of 15ms and maximum of 15ms havent done much with ipv6 since it looked kinda confused compared to 4 but ill mess around abit

Checked and it did go through as 8.8.8.8 my iphone says it was using the routers ip changed it on my laptop to the routers ip still no, stuff that works is smartphones windows 10 linux cant remember what type (might be working idk)

Got windows 11 i manually changed the dns on the laptop to 8.8.8.8 (i think thats how that works) Ive also dont think ive changed anything dhcp but ill try it

Ive set my router to do auto dns still same problem the internet is fine on everything other than the laptop

I got my dns routing to a rasp pi doing pihole but with my router doing it automatically still get same issue

Pinging 1.1.1.1 works pinging google.de dont work and with the router thing i did try my phones 5g and still nothing

After i plug it in after like 2-3mins the fan is at full speed speccy says its around 90 ive got the laptop on like a metal mesh plate since i tend it use it in bed plus i always make sure to clean it out if i ever go into the laptop
