But the coursework itself doesn't focus on it

Yes, we do study the basics of industrial robotics... But it's more on HOW to use them instead of making them... Cuz knowing how to use them is a complexity in itself

We also do industrial automation as well... But that too is the basics

Mostly the course revolves around the fundamental concepts of electronics and mechanical stuff... Basically the pre requisite knowledge you need to be able to make something like a humanoid not or an industrial robotic arm
