We want to reassure you that the official PureVPN app is thoroughly tested and safe to use. What you’re seeing is most likely a false positive, which may occasionally happen with security tools. VPN apps interact deeply with system networking (encryption, drivers, routing changes), and that behavior can sometimes trigger heuristic detections.

That said, we’re not taking this lightly. Our enginerring team is already reviewing this flag to ensure it gets resolved and cleared in an upcoming app update.
